In Lviv, in the sports complex "Bosco Arena", the XX
Ukrainian Cheerleading Championship among professional teams was
held, which brought together more than 1800 athletes from 50
leading clubs of the country.
The State University of Trade and Economics was represented by
"Kolibri Cheer" cheerleading team, which became the bronze medalist
of the competition. The athletes showed a high level of physical
and emotional fitness, as well as cohesion and a desire to
improve.
Congratulations to the winners and we wish them
strength for further achievements!

In continuation of the SUTE Spartakiad, futsal competitions were
held side by side with volleyball. Teams from all faculties took
part in them, playing in a round-robin system in the period from
November 20 to 30.
The fate of the first place was decided in the final meeting of
the competition, when the teams of FTM and FRGTB met. The victory
was won by the FTM team without losing a single match. The winners
beat the FRGTB team, which became the bronze medalists of the
competition. And the second place was rightly taken by the FEMP
team, which was the main competitor of the FTM team on the
podium.
The players showed a high level of training, and the teams of
their faculties were passionately supported by the fans.

The final of the European Cup in tug-of-war took place in the
city of Saldus (Latvia), in which about 170 athletes took part. The
national team of Ukraine won the first place in the team standings.
The national team of Ukraine includes 14 student-athletes of the
State University of Trade and Economics.
According to the results of the competition, the places in the
weight categories were distributed as follows:
2nd place – men (weight category 680 kg);
1st place – women (weight category 430 kg);
1st place – mix (weight category 430 kg);
1st place – up to 23 years old (weight category 600 kg).
Congratulations to the athletes and coach Artem Tsybrovsky on
the victory!

The XVIII Ukrainian Cheerleading Cup took place in Lviv. The
competition was held at the Bosco Arena and brought together more
than 1800 athletes from 15 regions of Ukraine. The struggle for
awards was conducted among representatives of 59 clubs of the
country.
Athletes had the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a
team performance, quartet, duet or solo. Competitions were held in
3 categories: jazz, hip-hop and free-dance dance. All participants
showed an extraordinary level of preparation.
The SUTE cheerleading team became the bronze medalist of the Cup
of Ukraine, losing to the European champions and the winners of the
World Championship.
It was an incredible celebration of sport, energy, grace and
grace!

The final competition of the fall was volleyball. In the
period from November 22 to 30, competitions among men's teams were
held as part of the SUTE Spartakiad. The event was attended by 78
players from 6 faculties.
The winners of the competition were the FTM team, which won all
the matches. For the 2nd place there was a fierce struggle between
the teams of FMTP and FIT. As a result, in the face-to-face
confrontation, the FIT team became silver winners, respectively,
FMTP took third place.
The matches were held in a tense and interesting struggle
with the ardent support of the fans.

On November 10-12, the World Championship in Ukrainian
belt wrestling was held in Bielsko-Biala (Poland). About
120 athletes from 12 countries took part in the competition. The
national team of Ukraine, which won the first place in the team
standings, included students of the State University of
Trade and Economics, who won prizes in the following
categories:
1st place - Mykola Senchyk, FEMP 2-1
1st place - Dmitriy Telelekov, FEMP, 6 mz, 2 k, FMTP, postgraduate
study, 1st year student
2nd place - Kutsokin Kirill FEMP 1-2m

On October 28-29, the Ukrainian Cross Country
Championship was held in Bila Tserkva, which is a
qualifier for the European Championship, which will be hosted by
Brussels in December. 360 participants of national teams from 25
regions of Ukraine took part in the competition. The event was
opened by the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine Vadym
Huttsait, the Mayor of Bila Tserkva Hennadii
Dykyi and the Acting President of the Ukrainian Football
Federation Olha Saladukha.
According to the results of the competition, SUTE students took
the following places:
Victoria Shkurko - 1st place (FFO 3rd year,
postgraduate student) - covered the distance of 2 km in 7:25
Tetiana Chornovol - 2nd place (FEMP 3-11) -
covered the distance of 2 km in 7:37 (U23)
Alina Korsunska - 3rd place (FEMP 3-2) -
covered the distance of 2 km in 7:59 (U23)

The series of victories continues, on October 28, the
Championship of Ukraine among adults and youth was held on the
basis of the Ivan Piddubny Olympic Professional College. The State
University of Trade and Economics was represented by 8 men's and 5
women's teams.
According to the results of the competition, the men's and
women's teams of SUTE in tug-of-war won first places.

Having successfully overcome the challenges of the national
championship, and subsequently conquered the European World Cup,
our national team amazingly broke into the 12 teams that had the
opportunity to represent their country at the World Championship
among higher education institutions.
The geography of our football team's performances has expanded
to unusual latitudes and brought the team to the FISU University
World Cup Football in the city of Jinjiang. The titled SUTE team
demonstrated a steely character, skillful endurance and filigree
ball possession.
In the final game, our guys outnumbered their opponents in all
respects, fought and fought! In regular time, the game ended with a
score of 1:1, and already in the lottery of post-match penalties,
luck smiled on our rivals - the Brazilian team of the University of
UNIP (Universidade Paulista).
We are convinced that this historic award for the entire
Ukrainian people is the beginning of great victories of the SUTE
team on the world stage. The first World Championship and
immediately the medal end of the tournament.
It is worth noting that our guys bring to Ukraine all
the most important individual awards of the
tournament:
- top scorer - Khrul Denis
- best goalkeeper - Yaroslav Protsenko
- best player - Liga Oleg
We are proud of the achievements of our guys and tirelessly
continue to cheer for each representative of the State University
of Trade and Economics in the European and world arena!

Sport is a type of individual development of such a scale that
it is difficult to find a competitor. Impeccable mastery of sports
skills becomes a prerequisite for personal development at DTEU. On
May 23, the Spartakiad among the national teams of the faculties
held the final type of competition - cheerleading. The start of the
sporting event was given by the Rector of the State University of
Trade and Economics - Anatoly Antonovych Mazaraki.
Each faculty prepared a performance to impress the esteemed
jury, who know from their own experience about grueling training
and have more than one victory in their arsenal: Andriy
Anatoliyovych Bolyak - President of the Federation of Cheerleading
and Cheersports of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on
Physical Education and Sports of the Ministry of Education and
Culture of Ukraine; Pugacheva Alla Eduardivna - judge of the
international category, participant of the Olympic Games
(gymnastics), head of the sports club "Peregrine cheerleading";
Andreyeva Nataliya Olehivna - master of sports in artistic
gymnastics, coach of SDYUSSH "Deryuginy School".
According to the results of the performances, the national team
of FEMP won the cup, the girls of FTM took second place, and FMTP
took third place. The Spartakiad among the collective teams of the
faculties has reached its climax, all types of the program have
been completed. Students collected awards and became winners,
improved themselves and their sports form. According to the sum of
points from all disciplines, the Faculty of Trade and Marketing won
the overall team competition of the Spartakiad. Physical culture
and sports are levers of influence on the development of the
nation's health. Thank you to all the faculties that competed and
won first of all all year!

The football team "Mercury" of the State University of Trade and
Economics won the silver medals at the results of the XXIV Kyiv
Championship. It is worth noting the historic achievement - this is
the 9th consecutive final for our national team! According to the
results of the football season, the best players among the
capital's institutions of higher education were chosen, among them
our graduates of higher education: Pravuk Yuriy won the "Best
Midfielder" nomination, and the figure of 14 scored goals brought
victory to our student in the "Best Scorer" nomination - Khrul
Denis.
The "Mercury" team is one of the most successful student
national teams of Ukraine. The most responsible games of this
season await us, and we are preparing to demonstrate a decent level
of football. We live every minute on the field and understand how
important it is to win. All the players of the national team are
infected with a special virus. Virus of victory. The next serious
tournament for us will be the Universiade, and the primary task is
to get out of the group tournament to the final part of the
competition," - FC "Mercury" captain Hrul Denys.
Already next week, from May 15 to 19, the State University of
Trade and Economics will host guests-competitors within the group
stage of the XVIII Summer Universiade of Ukraine in football. The
sports season continues, so our football players improve their
skills from game to game in order to delight us with new
victories!

On the initiative of the Department of Physical Training
and Sports, a number of student outing days were held
during the week for the Kyiv Regional Lyceum of Physical Culture
and Sports, the Regional Sports Lyceum of Kostopil, and the Bereziv
Lyceum-Boarding Sports Department.
The future entrants were addressed by the head of the department
V. G. Gamov, who spoke about the conditions for
admission and study at SUTE, and also focused attention on the
prestige of studying under the educational program "Sports
Management". Those present were interested in employment prospects
and the material and technical base of the State University of
Trade and Economics. Special attention was drawn to the sectional
system of choosing a sport at the university and the success of
national teams.
The meetings took place in a friendly atmosphere,
student-athletes actively asked questions and were interested in
the sports achievements of the university.
Vyacheslav Gamov asked students to attend the University Day on
May 27 and enter SUTE.

The Ukrainian Cheerleading Championship
competition was held on April 8 at the Emily Sport Arena in
Vynnyki, Lviv region.
More than 1,500 participants of various age categories took part
in the event. Competitions were held non-stop from early morning
until late evening. Unbelievable emotions and amazing performances
of the participants did not leave any audience uninterested.
The State University of Trade and Economics was represented by
the team "Kyiv Cheerleading Team", which took 1st place and became
the Champion of Ukraine. The team included: Anastasia

The football team "Mercury" of the State University of
Trade and Economics won the team "Budivelnik" of the
Kyiv National University of Construction and
Architecture in the semi-final of the Kyiv
Championship
"Everyone in the team must understand that he is an element of
the mosaic. If even one element is removed, the picture will not be
complete. Each player should know what qualities his partners have.
Our players see things that others don't. On the football field,
they can do everything: open the opponent's defense, make a
decisive move, give a long filigree pass, cut the opponent's
defense with a short pass, or completely change the course of the
match", - head coach of FC "Mercury", Oleksiy Valentinovych
Yatsenko, teacher of the Department of Physical Training and
Sports.
A winning attitude is like a charm that passes from one player
to another. Fortunately, "Mercury" has many players with a winning
spirit. When winning becomes an attribute of life, real winners are
unstoppable. Artem Ilchenko opened the winning score, Hrul Denys
scored a hat-trick, and Yarmak Oleksandr scored a goal.
In the final on May 10, the team of the State University of
Trade and Economics will face off against the team of the National
University of Bioresources and Nature Management.

On April 26, 2023, at the initiative of the Department
of Physical Training and Sports, a lecture was held for
students of higher education under the "Sports Management"
educational program. The speaker of the event was Iolanta
Khropach - General Secretary of the Athletics
Federation of Ukraine.
During the open lecture, students learned about the structure of
the athletics federation, the specifics of the training of
athletes, the organization of national and international level
competitions, the certification of sports facilities, and the
process of training coaches and judges. An interesting focus was on
cooperation with mass media and digitalization of sports. The
speaker explained in detail the specifics of the sports manager's
work in terms of providing funding for athletes and events, and
also focused on advertising and the importance of working with
sponsors. The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere, the
listeners actively asked questions and were interested in the
strategy for the development of athletics in Ukraine, the specifics
of anti-doping measures and the level of injuries at
competitions.
The lecture was held online and interested sports managers, as
well as students of other specialties and teachers.
The event was held with the support of the Head of the
Department Vyacheslav Gamov and the moderators of the event -
senior teacher Dembitska Olena and student FRGTB 1-1 Bondar
Daria.
The students and staff of the department express their

As part of the Admissions Day, the Department of
Physical Training and Sports held open volleyball,
fitness and tug-of-war trainings.
Fitness training was conducted by SUTE graduate Ania
Zgurovska, certified trainer of the YA.STUDIO fitness
studio. Ania suggested functional training and recommended sports
not only to improve physical condition, but also to overcome stress
and maintain psychological health.
Students of the graduating classes of Kyiv Regional Lyceum of
Physical Culture and Sports, Kryvyi Rih Regional Lyceum Boarding
School "Koliya" and Krasyliv Lyceum of the Kalyniv Settlement
Council participated in the training.
